MANUFACTURING ENGINEER I
Diamond Electric Manufacturing Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineer I in Eleanor, West Virginia, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating integrated manufacturing engineering systems for our industrial production processes (including with respect to product quality, inventory, logistics, materials, costs, and production) in support of the manufacturing of our automotive electronic controls. Specific duties of this position include: (i) supporting the development, coordination, and monitoring of all aspects of manufacturing production for our automotive electronic control products, including the selection of manufacturing engineering methods, materials, fabrication, and product quality standards; (ii) designing, quoting, and purchasing small to medium scope engineering project tooling in coordination with the Lead Manufacturing Engineer; (iii) assisting on small to medium scope engineering equipment modification projects; (iv) modifying manufacturing engineering blueprints/plans; (v) implementing PLC/HMI adjustments/changes; and (vi) monitoring engineering equipment defects and downtime issues and reporting findings to the Lead Manufacturing Engineer.
Must possess a bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering plus three (3) years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering position.
Must have experience (can be concurrent) with each of the following: (i) two (2) years with CAD or PLC's; and (ii) any experience with Microsoft Office.
Must be willing and able to work with manufacturing equipment including maintenance.
